Jaipur, Rajasthan is known for its heritage and rich craftsmanship’s, where many artisans live and work.

As a direct result of the COVID lock down, a lot of these workers do not have access to food and other essentials. Independent Artisans / workers can no longer make a daily living wage since all businesses and factories have been forced to close.

While most of us are frustrated by the inconveniences of the stay at home order, the lock down has become a daily struggle for survival for these workers.

Even though these lives are a world apart, the devotion and hard work of these artisans is reflected in the beautiful Gemstones and jewelry we have in our showcases.

We are committed to the well being of these artisan's as they are the foundation blocks of our businesses.

We have started a network of volunteers and setup kitchens where we are cooking hundreds of daily meals for distribution to the most needy. We are also distributing flour, vegetables, pulses, rice and other essentials to households. All at no cost.
We are aiming to increase the number of meals distribution to daily wage workers who have no other recourse.

Gemorex has committed proceeds from our online sales to go towards this initiative.
